There is a critical need to monitor oil/gas pipelines for leakage, before it becomes a major catastrophe. Our data acquisition system can detect distressed vegetation caused by leaks, faster than the conventional means of putting boots on the ground with a GPS system and expending valuable man hours walking pipelines looking for the same problems that we can detect by flying and entire pipeline route in a matter of hours.

This invaluable data can be used by the pipeline owner to minimize any future exposure and the data can be overlaid with GIS mapping and GPS technology as well, providing a digital data refernce library for future use. The same applies to power line management, we can provide data on potentially harmful vegetation and trees growing into power lines and detecting hotspots in a more safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
